So let's start rolling the ball!!

  • Open the browser in your system and go to the official Garmin website. Make sure you have a fast internet connection.
  • At Garmin Home page, look for "Download For Mac" button. Individual clickable buttons are available for Windows and Mac.
  • The download will start, and a file with name either GarminExpress.dmg or GarminExpressInstaller.dmg will be saved on your system.
  • Wait until the download completes.
  • Once completed click yo open this GarminExpress.dmg or GarminExpressInstaller.dmg file
  • A new window will open up with the name "Garmin Express"; double click on the "Install Garmin Express" icon showing there.
  • A new notification message will pop-up asking your consent to proceed with the process; click on "Continue."
  • In the next two windows you again have to give permission, so click on "Continue" to keep moving forward.
  • Click on "Agree" button int he "Terms & Conditions" box. 
  • Next, click on the "Install" button to complete the process. 
  • The next dialogue box will ask your username and password. Provide correct Mac User Name and Password. 
  • Click "Install software." 
  • Once the installation is complete; you will get to see a success message for the same. 
  • Select "Close"; this will open up the Applications folder automatically.
You will see the "Garmin Express" icon in this folder. You can move this icon on your desktop or favorites or wherever you like.

You have successfully installed the Garmin express on Mac. Now, you can launch it any time you need to get any Garmin GPS update.
